Jaak Van Assche

Jaak Van Assche was the first to take the stage. The 80-year-old actor played in countless theatre, film and TV productions. He became known to the general public for his legendary roles as Jean De Pesser in 'De Collega', Fernand Costermans in 'F.C. De Kampioenen' and recently Frans Van As in 'De Zonen van Van As'. Jan Verheyen, who had the pleasure of working with Van Assche on several occasions, was responsible for the laudation. Verheyen emphasised not only Van Assche's versatile professional career, but also as a pleasant colleague:
