LOOK!-competition 2017

In the LOOK!-competition, a professional international jury will award the Best Film, in which the image lifts the story to a higher level in a striking or influential way. Awards will also be given to the Best Director Of Photography and the Best Screenplay. The UFK Press Award will be chosen by the Union of Film Critics.

The award for Best Film went to 'Le Redoutable' from Michel Hazanavicius.

Le Redoutable

The Best Production Design was won by Andrey Ponkratov for his brilliant performance in director Andrey Zvyagintsev's 'Loveless'. Finally, Marcell Rév was handed the Best D.O.P. for his outstanding camera work in Kornél Mundruczó's 'Jupiter's Moon'.  

The professional journalists of the Union of Film Critics (UFK) awarded their own prizes in both competitions. Winner UFK prize LOOK! - competition this year is 'Detroit'.
