REwriteIT: Feature ScriptLab is an 11-month development program for screenwriters working on their first or second feature film. The starting point of REwriteIT are (mini)treatments and during the Lab we work towards a first or second version of a complete screenplay. After the first residency, a personal development plan is discussed with each participant. The Lab includes two multi-day residencies with Writers Rooms, master classes, improvisation sessions with actors and coaching sessions during Ostend Film Festival (FFO) in Ostend (Belgium) and the Netherlands Film Festival (NFF) in Utrecht (Netherlands). Besides two residencies, the program consists of online coaching sessions.
Participation is open to two filmmakers from the Netherlands and two from Belgium.
