Ensor Nominated Films

In 2010, Filmfestival Oostende founded the annual ceremony that honours the remarkable achievements in Flemish cinema. The Flemish film awards, the Ensors and its Gala were organised at the Kursaal in Oostende at the end of the festival in September. Soon, it became a fixed value in the Flemish audiovisual industry. Starting this year, the newly founded Ensor Academy consisting of professionals from the audiovisual industry will vote the winners. More than 400 professionals registered and voted for their favourites in 16 categories. Also new this year are the Ensors for TV Series.

On Saturday September 14th, on the last day of Filmfestival Oostende, we welcome the nominees at Kursaal Oostende for the Gala of the Ensors.

During the festival, a selection of ensor nominated films will be screened.
