Every year, the Ostend Film Festival (FFO) presents around 100 feature films and 15 short films.
Competitions
During FFO, several awards are handed out every year in different competitions. Besides the famous LOOK! competition, where visual gems with a strong story are put in the spotlight, we also organise the COOP! competition for Benelux co-productions; unique films that can be made thanks to an international collaboration and the SOON! competition; first and second feature films aimed at young adults. Up-and-coming Flemish talent also gets the attention it deserves during The Student Pitch powered by Sabam and the short film competition. The films are always judged by an (international) professional jury - unless otherwise stated - that awards the prizes.

- Best short film (2,500 EUR + voucher worth 12,000 EUR)
- Honorable mention for exceptional cinematography
